LivePass (Mondo’s subsidiary company responsible for the ticket sales) will utilize the ShoWareTM Ticketing Software for online and box office ticket sales for a wide variety of entertainment events. Mondo Entertainment is one of the largest entertainment companies in Latin America and was created by the merger of the ABC Group and Mondo Evempro. With this merger, Mondo Entertainment has begun to produce shows in Chile and Argentina, with the goal to cover the entire Latin American market in the next four years as well as reaching into the U.S. Hispanic market. Mondo Entertainment is responsible for live concert tours, holiday special events, fairs, festivals, and museum events, as well as merchandising, sponsorships, ticketing (LivePass), and event marketing. “LivePass chose ShoWareTM, among several options available in the Brazilian Market, largely because of the benefits offered through the software for promoters, venues, and customers,” says Mauricio Aires, Partner and Director of Mondo Entertainment/LivePass. “The ‘User-Friendly’ interface will set a new standard for the Brazilian ticket buying public and help LivePass exceed its goal of 1 million tickets sold in the first year of the partnership.” Mondo Entertainment and LivePass have brought international touring artists to this region such as Iron Maiden, The Jonas Brothers, and Bob Dylan as well as Beyonce, which was the first collection of shows sold with the ShoWareTM Ticketing Software.
