News & Events» Fresno software firm a hot ticketNews Date: 7/17/2009 An event ticketing solution by Fresno-based VisionOne, Inc. has itself been a hot ticket lately, just yesterday adding a Wenatchee, Wash. arena to its list of clients. ShoWare™, an online ticketing system by VisionOne, was selected to serve the 5,500-seat Town Toyota Center by the Wenatchee Public Facilities Board. According to The Wenatchee World newspaper, ShoWare’s proposal beat out 15 other companies, including industry giant TicketMaster, for the contract ShoWare™ takes over the Town Toyota Center contract in September 2009. ShoWare™ has been on a roll in 2009, adding several new clients throughout the U.S. The latest additions include the Lincoln Alexander Centre in Ontario, Canada; Fitzgeralds Casino & Hotel in Las Vegas and locals CenterStage Clovis Community Theatre and Children’s Musical Theaterworks in Fresno. Wenatchee chose ShoWare™ in part because it offered a fee structure that would help keep costs down for ticket purchasers. VisionOne was founded in 1994. Its headquarters are in Fresno, with other offices in Nevada, Chile, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil and Switzerland. It launched the ShoWare ticketing software in 2000. VisionOne claims more than 300 total customer installations. |
